Its been another busy month on the farm. Our friendly and helpful contractors moved in and harvested our maize crop.
The maize is then clamped and sheeted over with polythene to make maize silage cattle feed for some of the winter months.
We had an excellent crop this year; it grew so well as we use the manure from the sheds to fertilize and condition the soil; this creates a really sustainable farming system.
