A Simple Vinaigrette Dressing

A simple Vinaigrette (with added thyme)

This vinaigrette dressing is a versatile and flavourful dressing that goes well with many types of salads. You can use it as a dressing for the turkey and cranberry salad, or use it to dress other salads with ingredients like mixed greens, sliced vegetables, and grilled chicken or shrimp. You can also use it as a marinade for meats or vegetables, or as a dipping sauce for bread or crudités

  1. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, vinegar, mustard, honey, salt, and pepper.
  2. Taste the dressing, and adjust the seasoning as needed. You can add more honey for sweetness, more vinegar for acidity, or more salt and pepper for flavour.
  3. Use the dressing immediately, or transfer it to a jar with a tight-fitting lid and store it in the fridge for up to 1 week.
