Intwood Farm Meatballs in Italian Sauce

Method
- Choose a pan large enough to take the meatballs in a single layer.
 - Gently fry the onion and garlic in the oil until softening but not coloured.
 - Add to the pan the tomatoes, water, seasoning, dried oregano and tomato puree.
 - Bring to the boil whilst stirring, then reduce to a simmer and place on the lid. Stir occasionally for 20 minutes until the onions are really soft.
 - Add the milk (it will look curdled for a while but don’t panic all will be well). At this point taste the sauce adding a little sugar to ‘round off’ the flavour.

Cooking Time: 20 mins
Ingredients:
For Home made Tomato Sauce
- 1 Tblsp Olive Oil
 - 1 Medium Onion, peeled and diced
 - 2 Fat Cloves garlic, peeled and finely chopped
 - 1 Tblsp Tomato Puree
 - 1 Can Tomatoes (preferably chopped)
 - 100ml Water
 - Salt and Pepper
 - ½ Tsp Dried Oregano
 - 100ml Milk
 - ¼ to ½ Tsp Sugar
 - Grated parmesan to serve
